Hey there! Welcome to Shady’s Corner (Shady’s for short), your new favorite neighborhood bar, located on East Main + Central! We are looking for great people to join our team of hospitalians!
What is Shady’s? Shady’s is a gathering place for everyone! A place where people from all walks of life can bond over a cold beer and a shot. Grab a sando from the deli, play a game of pool, catch the game on the big screen, crush some beers in sunshine in the beer garden, grab the homies for a game of air hockey, chill be the firepit. Whatever floats your boat! Open 11am - 3am daily, we are there for you always. Cocktails, beers, liquor, tea, coffee - we have someone for everyone. Brunch menu on weekends too!
What are we looking for?|
Hospitality LEADERS! Someone who is able to hold their own on a busy night and still keep smiling, whilst ensuring the whole team are doing the same. Someone who is organized, systematic and thoughtful when it comes to management of the business as a whole, and staff management. Someone who is passionate about leadership and creating a great sense of morale within a team, and doesn't shy from that responsibility. Someone who loves to nurture and train other members of staff to get the best out of them! Positive. Energetic, friendly. Just good people. Sense of humor is a must!
What do you get?
Salary of $50 - 60k (depending on management experience). This is an opportunity to join a start-up business at the ground level and really contribute and mold how we operate as a business. This will be YOUR team!

Manager/Assistant ManageR
What are we looking for?
Hospitality professionals! Can hold their own on a busy night and still keep smiling. Positive vibes only! People who actually want to connect with other people, create a bond with regulars and are generally outgoing. Bartending experience required, cocktail knowledge preferable but not essential (we will teach you). Sense of humor is a must!
What do you get?
You get to work with like minded people who want to create a great environment for our guests, whilst having a great time ourselves! $6-$10 per hour (depending on experience) plus tips. Room for growth and an opportunity to join a start-up business at the ground level!

bartender
What are we looking for?
Someone with food handling experience + a positive attitude! Clean, organized and able to pump our sandos at a fast pace while keeping a smile on your face. A passion for sandos is a must (who doesn’t like sandwiches?!). We are hiring for day time shifts and night shifts.
What do you get?
You get to work with like minded people who want to create a great environment for our guests, whilst having a great time ourselves! $15 - 20 per hour (depending on experience) plus tip share. Room for growth and an opportunity to join a start-up business at the ground level!

SANDO MASTER
What are we looking for?
Someone who wants to get involved in the bar industry! No experience necessary - just a great vibe, positive energy and a willingness to engage with our guests. You’ll be moving quickly, with the job requiring different skills. Delivering food and drink, collecting and washing glasses, mopping up spills, cleaning the bar. Let's be honest - it's the grunt work of the bar, but it's what keeps the bar ticking! This position would be great for someone wanting to learn all about the bar industry. Work hard as a barback and we will train you as a bartender! Sense of humor a must!
What do you get?
You get to work with like minded people who want to create a great environment for our guests, whilst having a great time ourselves! $2.13 per hour plus tips. Room for growth and an opportunity to join a start-up business at the ground level!
